Who Am I?
Hello and welcome! I'm Anand, a 37-year-old roboticist with a large tapestry of experiences that weave together the technical and the personal.
My journey in robotics has been as much about circuits and code as it has been about cultures and connections. Born in India, I've found pieces of home in the many countries I've lived in across Europe, including Poland, France, Italy, and now, the vibrant city of Munich, Germany, which I share with my partner.
My past 14 years in Europe have been a mosaic of innovation, learning, and growth. As a partner, brother, uncle, and son, I carry the essence of these relationships into my work, infusing my projects with empathy and a deep understanding of human-centric design. When I'm not immersed in the world of robotics, you'll find me lost in the magic of movies, which I watch with almost religious fervor, or channeling my creativity into design, often accompanied by the hum of my 3D printer.
The outdoors call to me too, and I answer by hiking through nature with friends or engaging in a spirited game of squash. My multilingual abilities mirror my love for diversity and connection, as I speak English, German, Italian, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
I'm a social soul, thriving on interaction and community service, always ready to lend a hand or share a conversation.
